MOSES KURIA CAUSING TENSIONS AT TNA AFTER RIGGING GATUNDU SOUTH NOMINATIONS

Six MPs from the Jubilee
Coalition have questioned
the nomination of Moses
Kuria to contest the Gatundu
South seat on a The National
Alliance ticket and demanded
that the party revoke it.
The MPs – two from Narc and
four from TNA itself—allege
that Mr Kuria was not validly
nominated and expressed
their “utmost
disappointment” with the
manner in which the
nominations were carried
out.
TNA MPs Kanini Kega (Kieni),
Wanjiku Muhia (Nyandarua
County), Alice Wahome
(Kandara) and Mburu
Kahangara (Lari) were joined
by Narc MPs Humphrey
Njuguna (Gatanga) and Peter
Weru (Mathira) in demanding
that the certificate of
nomination be revoked.
“As a coalition, we’re not
happy with the primaries
that are revealing that there
were a lot of underhand
dealings,” said Ms Wahome.
The group argued that Joyce
Ngugi, the widow of the late
MP Joseph Ngugi, won in the
nominations but was rigged
