Is this a clever move, in ANC succession planning to build Cyril a continental and international standing as Zuma’s deputy or perhaps a way to improve his reputation after his Lonmin/Marikana links somewhat tarnished him? Or could it just be to ensure he is busy and can’t in any way outshine Zuma as elections approach? Anyone ak Machar or the AU for that matter about this?   KS
