Today’s status conference on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s case bore no new evidence as the prosecution sort to get the court to punish the Kenya government for what the prosecutor has called “obstructionism”)
He is more interested to have the judges condemn the Kenya government than getting the real evidence in the case. The prosecutor told the court that the office has no evidence that can sustain a trial but asked the court to help in forcing the Kenya government to give them Mr Kenyatta’s financial records before any consideration whether to terminate the case can be discussed.
Without Mr Kenyatta’s financial records, which the prosecution says the Kenya government has not been helpful when requested to deliver, the case will collapse.
